“Living in Gilbert on the lake for several years and now living in Chapin on the lake I started asking my friends who they used to build their docks. Well as you can imagine, I received a lot of recommendations. The usual names came up, and eventually, I narrowed it down to four companies and contacted them for proposals. After determining what I wanted in a dock, I realized they all came in close in price. One of the owners even invited me to his home to look at his dock. As you can imagine it had every feature you could ever want in a dock. After meeting with the four companies, I decided to go with Jack Wessinger of Wessinger Dock & Decks. Yeah, Jack was the one guy that invited me over to his house to see his personal dock. I liked that the fact that he has been in the business of building docks on Lake Murray for the past 35 years and has a fantastic reputation. After waiting 9 months (which is normal right now) Jack called and said we will be coming to your house in six weeks, let’s go over everything in detail before we get started. We got together and finalized everything. As scheduled, they showed up the first morning at 7:10 a.m. and started working on my dock. This is where I was amazed. Each morning like clockwork, Aaron, Corey, and Mateo showed up between 7:00 a.m. & 7:10 a.m. and they would work non-stop until lunch-time and then back to work until 3:30 – 4:00 p.m. I work from my home, so I was able to watch the complete building process. These guys flat-out work! They are professional, polite, and clean up after each day’s work. The attention to detail was amazing.
